# FAQs

# Transportation

- Is reserved parking available?
  
  Yes. We have a select number of reserved parking spaces available at the Galvez Lot (279 Galvez St, Stanford, CA). Reserve your spot [here](https://stanford.aimsparking.com/). - Where do I find and pay for parking?
  
  Additional parking is available at the Knight Management Center Garage at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Stanford students and employees can purchase daily permits and visitors can pay hourly or by day via Pay-by-Phone. More parking information can be found [here](https://transportation.stanford.edu/parking-stanford/purchase-parking).
- Where do I pickup/dropoff for ride shares?
  
  The closest pickup/dropoff location for ride shares is the Stanford Oval (20 Palm Dr), a 4-5 minute walk from Hoover.

*Please note that all participants will be responsible for making their way to and from the conference venue.*

# Meals

- Dietary restrictions/allergies?
  
  Hoover staff and catering have been made aware of the allergies and dietary restrictions listed on your registration form. If you have any additional dietary restrictions we should be made aware of, or if you have any concerns about the meal offerings, please do not hesitate to reach out to Sarah Moront ([smoront@stanford.edu](mailto:smoront@stanford.edu)) and Clara Rittscher ([crittsch@stanford.edu](mailto:crittsch@stanford.edu)). 
- What meals are being served?
  
  Meals that are being served during the conference include:
  
    - A light continental breakfast beginning at 8AM
    - Coffee and snacks throughout the day
    - A lunch buffet
    - A reception with light bites after the formal program concludes

# Attire

- What attire do you recommend?
  
  Business casual is recommended for the entire program. A sport coat, dresses, skirts, and the like are all appropriate.  We recommend you bring a jacket or sweater, as the meeting space can be cold.
  
  Temperatures average a high of 70 degrees and a low of 45 degrees in mid April. Warmer temperatures and rain are possible.

- Where can I find lodging?
  
  While we are unable to provide lodging support for conference participants, we can recommend the following hotels in Palo Alto which are conveniently located close to campus:

# Financial Support

- Is any financial support provided to participants?
  
  Unfortunately we are unable to provide any financial support for conference participants at this time.

# Registration

- Is there a registration fee?
  
   This event is free to attend and there is no registration fee. That said, participants are required to register in advance to attend the event.
